Ezra Baeli-Wang

Communications Strategist

Ezra Baeli-Wang is a strategist, storyteller, and organizer working in politics, AAPI visibility and opportunity, and LGBTQ+ activism in athletics. His commitment and approach to his work stems from his experience as a poet and writer, Division I student-athlete, and as the mixed-race child of a queer parent and a first-generation immigrant parent.

He is the Chief Marketing Officer for the National Association of Asian American Professionals (NAAAP), a freelance communications specialist, and a speaker at conferences and events nationwide. He led the Atlantic Coast Conference student-athlete community's successful grassroots campaign to repeal North Carolina's House Bill 2 and organized past and present UNC student-athletes, including professional and Olympic athletes, in the successful campaign to remove a confederate monument on UNC's campus.
